Everyone here in the Intrigued family would like to extend a hearty Merry Christmas to each and all! We have had a wonderful year here and that is entirely due to all our wonderful readers.

Hit the jump for some more merry good cheer!
For the second year in a row, we have successfully made it through the annual office party without additions to our prohibitive harassment training. Clearly putting Brad in charge of that was the smartest decision I’ve made in a long time. There was an unexpected “incident” near the end this year requiring an ambulance, but that has all turned out fine (quite the relief and nothing to do with Brad). The staff are home now enjoying the holidays with their families/friends and I’ll but turning off the lights in the headquarters as soon as I hit submit on this annual Christmas post.

We will officially fire up the Intrigued engine with the new calendar year. There might be some quick posts just to tidy up a bit before the year end, but for the most part, it will be pretty quiet. We will definitely respond to any missed comments as soon as we return.

Linda and I, along with Brad and his family (his top-notch editors/photographers Jan and Allyson) and the rest of our divisions wish you a blessed holiday, safe travels, merry gatherings and fingers crossed, Santa brings gives you everything you ask for and more.

“Wait, did you say Santa was coming TONIGHT!?!?!?!?”

What is wrong Ruger?
“Raven says I’m only getting lumps of coal because Santa hates silver dogs and I didn’t give my brothers enough back rubs”

RAVEN, we have had this discussion too many times – stop tormenting and lying to your brothers..Santa sees everything you do as well!
“Who me…crazy talk – that’s his puppy brain on the fritz again”

Did Raven lie to you too Benji?
“He said if I didn’t let him sleep in my bed he’d rip up my letter to Santa”

Raven, get over here now! Does every family have a problem child?
“Yes, Ruger, I think Santa will bring you a new ball, now off to bed before he passes over our house because he sees you are still up.”

Take it easy everyone and a big thanks again for all our readers and the many kind words we have received this year – it’s what keeps our spirits up and drives us to get out in the field to bring back more adventures to share. For those traveling, please be safe, for those able to spend the holidays with your family and friends, cherish the memories and most of all, don’t let the constant negativity that is permeating the click-bait media get you down. Turn the TV off, put down the phones and enjoy the company of the ones you are with.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
The Intrigued Family
